How to find the Barnes's Bookshop?

When you solve the first puzzle in the Mind Palace, the next place of investigation will be the bookshop. Go straight and turn left. When you approach the bookshop, a notification will pop up on the screen. Enter the bookshop and talk to Mr. Barnes.

Character Portrait: Mr. Barnes

Start observing Mr. Barnes and examine:

1. eyes,
2. right hand,
3. right knee,
4. left shoe.

Choose one of the two options and make a profile for Mr. Barnes. Regardless of what you choose, the conversation will proceed in the same way.

How to find clues in the bookshop?

The bookshop owner will hide behind the door. First, examine the dog at the door and the ladder in the alcove to the right of the door, then approach the counter. Examine the large painting on the wall, and finally the stack of books on the counter.

On the bookshop's counter examine:

1. flyer on the right,
2. thick book with an orange cover.

Go to the window and investigate:

1. pot of dried flowers,
2. pile of books,
3. view behind the window.

When you find all the evidence in the bookshop, go outside and approach the flower stand.

How to search the flower stand?

At the flower stand examine:

1. red roses,
2. white roses,
3. cactus.

When you pick up the cactus pot, examine the spot with the missing needle. Rotate the pot and examine the crack.

While observing Mrs. Flemming examine:

1. mouth,
2. buttons on the neck,
3. brooch on the left shoulder,
4. shoes.

Choose any character profile and continue the conversation.

Providing evidence to Mrs. Flemming

Select the Provide Evidence option and check:

Choose the evidence:

Finally, return to the bookshop and talk to Barnes through the door. You will receive The Strand newspaper. You can now leave the bookshop.
