This is an introductory mission and you will be closely guided for the first couple of minutes. Follow the instructions precisely and place the objects in the indicated locations, otherwise, you will not be able to progress. When you are asked to create a line between the corn farm, Omaha and Norfolk, you have to add all of the stations one by one, although the hints only suggest a connection between the farm and Norfolk. After this part, you will gain full freedom and control over the actions of your company, and the first goals of the mission will appear.

You have enough funds to go directly to creating the connections with the next cities. You will receive very large bonuses for connecting North Platte and Cheyenne, thanks to which you will be able to earn a lot of cash. You can also create more connections between cities to quickly use the already existing routes. You will then be instructed to create a route that will supply Cheyenne with wood and grain.

The creation of the transport chains Cattle to Denver and Meat to Cheyenne are simple tasks. You can even create one line that will handle all of the products. It is a cheaper but slower solution.

Now you should receive new tasks. It is worth starting from simple side objectives, because they will create profitable connections and increase the number of residents in Cheyenne. This, in turn, will be useful to accomplish the main goal of the mission, which is to expand the city and transport passengers to Rock Springs. First, make connections from Cheyenne to Denver, then to the ranch which herds cattle nearby. In the beginning, one train that transports cattle and one train running between cities is enough. In the settings of the latter, you can designate the loading of meat to Cheyenne to be a priority.

Small modifications to the route between the mountains will significantly affect the cost of building a new connection.

It is time to build a connection from Cheyenne to Rock Springs, which is at the western end of the map. You must build a new route between steep mountains. Creating tracks in a straight line is a fairly pricy project, which requires the drilling of many expensive tunnels. However, you can modify the connection by adding reference points and moving them to a flat area. It is worth to adjust the route to the previous points, in order to align the new track. This way, you will pay several times less for the new tracks. Do not forget to add supply towers! It is worth building at least two such structures on a connection of this length. In Cheyenne, add a repair workshop at the station.

One passenger train covering such a large connection will carry passengers for quite a long time. Create 2-3 sidings and add another railway line. Do not add any freight trains because you will only make it more difficult to complete the mission. If Cheyenne still does not have the required number of residents, then check the demands of the city and look for production centers that can fulfill the city's needs. Start with resources, because they are the easiest to deliver to the towns. When the next free slot appears in Cheyenne or Denver, construct a factory that will produce the necessary goods, e.g. Cloth or Clothing.
