War Hospital is a medical sim management game that thrust you into the desperate trenches of World War I. As a doctor, you need to manage a field hospital on the Western Front and make life-or-death decisions as you prioritize patients, triage injuries, and struggle with limited resources. The title launched on January 11th, and players already experienced a game breaking bug… but is it really a technical problem? In this guide, we will look closer to the issue with doctors not operating in the surgery.
How to Fix Doctors Stopped Operating Bug in War Hospital?
After a few hours of gameplay, some players came across a frustrating glitch, where doctors stopped operating on patients. Even when wounded are assigned and queuing in CSS, medical staff remains idle. However, in many cases it is not a bug, but a feature. Here’s what could be the possible problem in this scenario:
- Check your Surgical Supplies. Without the necessary resources, doctors can’t perform medical procedures. Supplies can be bought at the Train Station or crafted in the Pharmacy.
- Doctors need to be rested, don’t forget to send them for a break from time to time.
- Operating tables are filled with dead bodies. Make sure that your med team works in the Cemetery, if they are active but still facing issues, add more workers or try extending their shifts. The most effective way to handle deceased soldiers is by upgrading your hospital with the Morgue. That way corpses will no longer occupy slots in the Operating Ward.
