„DirectX 12 is not supported on your system” in inZOI? This error is not new and developers know about it
inZOI was launched and first people can enjoy the game. However, not all fans can do that. Some of them see only an error message: “DirectX 12 is not supported on your system”. Developers know about the problem.
inZOI is probably one of the most anticipated games of this year. For a long time The Sims was unquestionable ruler and a sole representative of its own genre. It is about to change though with the release of inZOI Studio creation. Before the official launch, developers decided to give players a little bit of the game and once again prepared a demo. It allows for building and character creation. For now, you need to earn a key to enjoy it (it will change in the future). However, even when you get access code, you can be stopped by an error: “DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument”. And to be honest, it is not the first time.
How to fix DirectX 12 is not supported on your system in inZOI
inZOI is one of the most anticipated games of this year, especially after information about the low price was announced. Of course, we can’t get all good news. Many people are concerned about high PC requirements. Now, to their worries we can add another one – technical issues. It seems that the newly released demo is quite problematic for many fans and the error is not a new one.
Numerous players instead of the demo get an error massage stated that: “DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument”. Good news is that developers have heard about the problem and posted some potential fixes on their official Discord channel.
- Update your graphics drivers.
- Make sure that your Windows is updated to its newest version.
- If the above will not help, make sure to leave a report to the Customer Support Page. However, make sure that it will be helpful and contain as much information as possible. Developers recommend running DirectX Diagnostic Tool by pressing Windows + R and typing dxdiag. Next save all information and upload the text file when submitting a request.
The issue is not a new one. It was here in August last year, during previous tests. It is concerning, and suggests that the release of the game may have some technical issues as well. We can also add that you should double check your PC specs. If you do not meet at least minimum requirements, your system may simply not support DirectX 12.
