Total War: Warhammer 3 Promises Another Year of Excitement
The director of Total War: Warhammer III has let out the secret about the game's development plans in 2023.
This year Total War: Warhammer 3 is expected to receive three expansions. Such news was provided by Rich Aldridge from Creative Assembly.
The game's director shared this information in a video published on YouTube. You can watch the video below.
The first of this year's DLC is expected in April, which coincides with earlier information about the updates. Two more will be released in summer and winter. In between, the developers will focus on patches to enhance the gameplay experience and fix bugs and other imperfections of the third Total War: Warhammer.
The game's director did not say anything specific about the content. He only expressed hope that some of the upcoming novelties will surprise the players, while others will be what they have been wishing for since the debut of the basic version of Warhammer 3.
Fans are guessing that the first DLC will introduce Chaos dwarves, as this very race seemed to be the focus of the teasers released so far. We should add that information about it was also found in the game files.
Aldridge also addressed allegations of slow development of the game after release. This was thought to be due to "changes in the work schedule." More specifically, the focus on fixing the base game and Immortal Empires mode. The director explains that Creative Assembly simply didn't have a way to work on new content when most of the staff was busy with ongoing updates and the highly anticipated campaign connecting the entire trilogy of Total War: Warhammer.
