Total War: Warhammer 3 Devs Want to Keep up Good Streak. Khorne, Ogres, and Greenskins Will Soon Receive New Campaigns and Units
Creative Assembly studio announced the next addition to Total War: Warhammer 3. Khorne, ogres, and greenskins will occupy the central part of it.
Total War: Warhammer 3 has experienced a number of highs and lows since its release in 2022. The recent months indicate that the devs of the popular strategy game, Creative Assembly studio, have overcome their string of failures and are now on an upward trajectory. Fortunately, increasingly positive reviews about the game don't discourage developers from improving the game. On the contrary, the team announced more new features that will soon be available in Total War: Warhammer 3.
The developers haven't provided extensive information, but we have discovered that the upcoming DLC for the game will focus on the Khorne faction, dedicated to the god of chaos, as well as the greenskins and ogres. They will receive new campaigns, units, and leaders. It's interesting that some time ago dataminers found hints in the game files suggesting that the legendary mercenary Golfag Maneater will be the representative of the last of the mentioned races (via Rock Paper Shotgun).
The expansion is scheduled for release later this year, with more details about it coming on June 26 from the senior game director, Richard Aldridge.
However, this isn't the end of good news for the fans of the third installment. At the end of June, Creative Assembly will release update 5.1, which will include another free legendary hero: Kharnak, the Hound of Vengeance, a three-headed dog demon.
