We know how The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt did from the financial side in 2020 compared to previous years. The CD Projekt Group can be satisfied with the results it achieved.
CD Projekt Group has shared its financial results for 2020. Apart from quite obvious summaries associated with the release of Cyberpunk 2077, it was also time to collect all sorts of numbers concerning The Witcher franchise. We are sure of one thing when seeing the stats - it was a really successful period for Geralt and his crew in terms of popularity and sales results across the globe.
First of all, it is worth quoting the bar chart illustrating the annual revenues from the entire Witcher trilogy. Particularly noteworthy is the position of The Witcher 3. Wild Hunt (along with its expansions) provided CDPR with the highest earnings since 2016 and then 2015. Considering that we are comparing this period with the year of game's release and the one freshly after it, we can really talk about a good result of CDPR.
