Pawel Sasko, who was a quest designer in The Witcher 3, revealed that the most difficult quest for him to develop in the game was the Battle of Kaer Morhen. Commenting on a player's post praising this quest in the game on the X platform, he stated:

The hardest quest I have ever designed and implemented. Especially the technical part kicked my ass, so many custom solutions and branches. I was losing my mind and my sleep, when trying to put it together.

Such an answer isn't surprising. This adventure provided a great deal of freedom, and many of its aspects were influenced by decisions made earlier in the campaign, making it an extremely challenging task to assemble it all into a cohesive whole.

In the same thread, one of the players asked Pawel Sasko if he was also responsible for the quest in the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, in which we have to attack the Maxtac convoy. The dev explained that he advised on this task along with several people, but the quest itself was designed and implemented by Piotr Kuma.

Let's remind that Pawel Sasko serves now as the game director for Project Orion, which is the continuation of Cyberpunk 2077.
