Fans 'must' buy Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred (D4 VoH) on Game Pass again. The issue with key troubles players
“You don't have a key for a game.” Sound familiar? If you see this message after the latest Diablo 4 VoH update, and you can't play the game from the Game Pass service, then read our article.
The Season of Witchcraft has launched in Diablo 4, bringing many fresh features to the game. In addition to balance improvements, new items were also added, including armor and runes (you can find more information about the Season 7 changes here). However, it was not without problems, and Diablo fans using the Xbox Game Pass service are suffering the most. Many players are asked to buy Vessel of Hatred expansion once again, even though they have already bought it.
Problems with Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred on Game Pass explained
Players who subscribe to the Xbox Game Pass service are having a lot of trouble launching the game after the recent update introducing Season of Witchcraft to D4. Despite having the expansion, they are asked to purchase Vessel of Hatred again, even though a few hours ago everything was fine.
It also doesn't help that those facing this problem can’t report it on Blizzard's official forum as they don’t have access to it. A message pops up for them: “You don't have a key for the game,” and then shows that the Game Pass service is inactive. Unfortunately, restarting the game does not help here. Some of them also tried to install any Battle Net game that is connected to Game Pass, alas with no success.
It seems that the latest update broke the correct verification of the active Game Pass service. Unfortunately, there is nothing left to do but wait for Blizzard to solve this problem. As the issue is common and seems to affect many Game Pass users (if not all), it should be fixed pretty quickly.
