Hit Action RPG Black Myth: Wukong May Receive 2 Major DLCs. Trilogy Might Be in the Works
The popular Black Myth: Wukong may be getting two DLCs and a sequel. New rumors related to the hit action RPG from Chinese studio Game Science surfaced online.
Black Myth: Wukong turned out to be a huge success for the Game Science studio on the day of its release. The great-selling action RPG certainly motivated the developers to keep working, and if we believe new rumors, there will be quite a lot of it in the coming months.
Interesting but unconfirmed reports have appeared on the Internet from a source under the pseudonym Lunatic Ignus, who specializes in Chinese games. He posted his revelations both on X and on the Discord server.

As you can read in the above entry, the hit Black Myth: Wukong is set to receive two expansions, which could feature Bull King, Jade Emperor, and Buddha. The DLCs are reportedly expected to launch after the release of the base game on Xbox Series X/S and the availability of physical copies of the title. Apparently, the devs will announce this DLC in the summer of 2025, a year after the game's premiere.
The plot of Black Myth: Wukong consists of 6 chapters. According to the mentioned insider, there were supposed to be 13 of them, but the creators ultimately abandoned this idea due to budget constraints. Lunatic Ignus claimed the existence of unknown sound files, including those of the Chinese deity Nezha, to substantiate his information.
Reports about the next game of Game Science studio also sound interesting. Its code name is supposedly Black Myth: Jiang Ziya, which would herald the expansion of the universe. Furthermore, Lunatic Ignus implies that the mentioned deity, Nezha, will not only make an appearance in this title but will also have a significantly larger role than in the first installment. It should be noted that the developers also reserved the name Black Myth: Zhong Kui, so we can even expect a game trilogy.
As with all leaks, these should also be approached with caution. Game Science Studio hasn't yet commented on the above reports, and it is uncertain whether they will do so at all.
