The Game Awards 2022 Looks Promising; Announcements and Leaks

The Game Awards 2022 will be held at December 9, with preshow starting at 1:30 am CET/ 7:30 pm ET / 4:30 pm PT. According to the announcement, about fifty different items are expected to appear at the gala. Tom Henderson recently published an article in Insider Gaming, in which, citing his sources, the journalist reported that the pre-orders of Final Fantasy XVI will launch in December. This will most likely take place precisely during the event organized by Geoff Keighley.
This is all the more likely because Hiroshi Takai, one of the title's creators, recently admitted that the game is about 95% complete. The release may therefore come sooner than expected (the official date is summer 2023).
Dead Space (confirmed)
The gala is expected to feature the remake of Dead Space, which debuts in January. During the event we will see a new gameplay trailer. At this point we do not know additional details.
Final Fantasy XVI (confirmed)
Geoff Keighley confirmed that Naoki Yoshida, producer of Final Fantasy XVI, will appear at the event. He will host a special panel dedicated to the game.
Diablo 4 (leak)
Windows Central reports that the debut of Diablo 4 is already very close and will take place in April 2023. Overdose (speculation)
Horror game Overdose is allegedly the new title from the now legendary creator Hideo Kojima. Recent leak, had a half-naked man presented us with 2.5 minutes of gameplay. It is likely that this title is the fruit of the developer's collaboration with Microsoft, and we will see its official announcement at The Game Awards 2022.
As we all know, Hideo Kojima likes to show up at galas hosted by Geoff Keighley. One need only recall that this year he appeared at the opening of gamescom just to announce his podcast. So it is likely that this time, too, the developer will honor us with his presence.

At this point there is no official confirmation, but fans speculate that an expansion for FromSoftware's latest game is in development and will most likely be announced at The Game Awards 2022..
