The Devs of Burnout Return With Dangerous Driving 2
The devs of the legendary Burnout racing series, forming the independent studio Three Fields Entertainment, have announced Dangerous Driving 2, a sequel to the coldly received prequel, which was released last year. The advantage of the new title is an open sandbox world and a spectacular model of car damage.
Last year's Dangerous Driving was advertised as the spiritual successor to the legendary Burnout racing game series. However, the title did not conquer the hearts of racing lovers. The developers from the independent British studio Three Fields Entertainment were not discouraged by the cold opinions about their work and rolled up their sleeves to fix their mistakes in the ambitious continuation of the game, which has just been announced and will be released in a surprisingly short time. According to a press release, the title will launch in late 2020 and will appear simultaneously on PC (most likely only on Epic Games Store) , Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
In Dangerous Driving 2 the devs focus on the concept of an open and dynamic game world, known for example from the extremely popular Burnout Paradise or the Forza Horizon series. During the game, the players are free to walk around a large map, where they will encounter many different racing opponents to compete with in spectacular events. In addition to AI-controlled drivers, you will also be able to race against human opponents, either online or in split screen mode. The biggest attraction of the title will remain massive crashes, in which even several dozen cars can participate at once. We should know more about the title in the coming months. The playable version of Dangerous Driving 2 will be shown at the PAX East fair, which will take place from February 27 to March 1.
