Sony may be preparing another gaming showcase for PlayStation. This, according to fans, is indicated by a new ad released by the Japanese company. You can watch it below.

The ad doesn't show any game footage, but one of the shots shows a notice board at a train station with the date December 3 and the time 20:24 (8:24 p.m.) or maybe the year. According to fans, this confirms that we will see another Sony show in nearly 3 weeks - or at least there will be some announcement related to PlayStation.

Such speculations should always be treated as a suggestion rather than an actual "confirmation." Nonetheless, in this case, the message seems clear - not only because it isn't very subtle. On December 3, 2024, it will have been 30 years since the first PlayStation console was released.

Publishers and devs don't always grandly celebrate anniversaries, much to the annoyance of fans of such overlooked brands. However, even without the mentioned "teaser," it would be strange if Sony didn't celebrate the 30th anniversary of arguably its most important brand. The inclusion of this date in the new PlayStation ad can be considered confirmation that the company is preparing for at least a big announcement, if not a major anniversary show.

Of course, it's better to curb the enthusiasm for now. At least until Sony gives us some more clues.
