PS5 Will Introduce Gameplay Timer
Sony will introduce a new feature on PlayStation 5: a gameplay timer. This feature, well known to Steam and Nintendo Switch users, will enable us to see how many hours you've spent in a given title.

PlayStation 5 users will finally be able to see how much time they spend playing. The feature, previously available on Steam and Switch among others, will appear as part of new user profiles. As reported by Gamestop, the counter is updated without major delays and the result is accurate.
Interestingly, the option will also include the hours we spent playing games on the PS4 console, even if they were acquired long before this feature was introduced - provided, of course, that we were not offline during the game.
