Marvel's Spider-Man 3 will feature Peter Parker despite fan concerns. „He won't be relegated to the couch, I promise”
After playing Marvel's Spider-Man 2, fans began to worry about the future of Peter Parker, but the actor playing his role assures that the character will return in the next game.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games was recently released on personal computers, bringing renewed attention to one of the world's most popular comic book heroes, particularly regarding his role in the upcoming third installment of the game series.
The second part of Spider-Man's adventures, however, puts his further presence in the series into question. The ambiguous ending of the second installment made many fans wonder if Peter Parker would not give up his costume in favor of a quieter life. Fortunately, however, we have nothing to fear - at least according to the actor who plays him.
Peter is not gone. He will be a part of the next game and he won't be relegated to the couch, I promise - said Yuri Lowenthal in an interview for The Direct.
Moreover, the actor suggests that Parker will play a key role in the plot of the upcoming Spider-Man. So fans can rest easy - Peter is not planning to retire from being a superhero just yet (at most, he might take a short vacation).
What else do we know about the plot of the upcoming Spider Man? Only that the developers have big plans for it - and the whole thing could turn out to be truly "epic."

However, these words were said two years ago, on the occasion of the second installment release. It's hard to say the current stage of progress for the development of the third Spider-Man installment (if it's even underway). It's reassuring to know that Peter Parker won't be sidelined and will remain involved in the fate of the world, albeit not in the same way as before.
