PS5 Pro in 2023 or 2024, Suggests TCL Conference
More reports may point to a release date for the PlayStation 5 Pro, a more powerful version of the PS5 console. The TCL conference mentioned either 2023 or 2024.

Latest rumors about the power and release date of PlayStation 5 Pro suggested that the console would arrive in late 2023. Today's conference of TCL, a manufacturer of TVs among other things, seems to lend credence to those reports. TV models introduced in 2022 are expected to be compatible with "generation 9.5", i.e. refreshed versions of PlayStation 5 Pro and New Xbox Series S/X consoles.
The information should not be taken as 100% certain - TCL only indicates that consoles are likely to appear in the indicated period and prepares its products for them.
At today's conference Marek Maciejewski, Director of Product Development Europe at TCL Europe, presented the company's plans for the development of TVs, taking into account consoles from Microsoft and Sony.
One of the slides mentioned a potential release window for the refreshed 9th-gen console models - PlayStation 5 Pro and New Xbox Series S/X, respectively - in 2023 or 2024. Although there is no certainty that the devices will appear then (or if it will appear at all), the consumer electronics maker's preparations seem to indicate that this is likely.
