Call of Duty is here with the new games called Black Ops 6. It seems that fans enjoy it very much, for example its campaign. However, there are some technical issues which bother many players like Steam and Game Pass versions not working. If you manage to enter the game though, you will have a chance to solve some mysteries like piano and safe puzzles or play multiplayer. In the case of the latter, the Internet connection is very important. Some people have problems with servers and lags, though. Let’s look at it.

How to Check Server Status in BO6

If you want to know the server status of BO6, you should check out Activision support website. There you will be able to see if everything is in order on the developer’s side. Alternatively, it is also a good idea to follow the official X account (CODUpdates). If everything is all right there, you can always check out on various social platforms like Reddit, if other players have similar issues.

Lags and lost connection to server in BO6

If you have checked connection on developer’s side and it is green, you can test if everything works on your side.

  1. If it is possible, use wired connection.
  2. Restart your router.
  3. Turn off other applications which use the Internet.
  4. Check if your antivirus does not block the app (watch out though, you don’t want to be without protection).

If it does not help, there is nothing really which you can do. It is likely that the servers are now quite overloaded due to the release (as the article was written a few hours after it). It might take a couple of days for them to return to normal.
