Fans of third-person RPGs, including the beloved Gothic, may be interested in the information provided by the Polish studio Sartorian. In February, a demo version of Tales of Anturia: Hejstos will be available.

If you like it very much, you will be able to return to the mountain province of Heistos on March 13. That's when the game will debut in early access on Steam.

At the same time, the devs presented the roadmap for Tales of Anturia: Hejstos.

  1. In the second or third quarter of this year, an update will be released introducing the mage class, a new region, spell scrolls, and new enemies.
  2. By the end of 2024 the developers will add a "runner" class, another part of the world, the ability to fight with a spear, and even more types of enemies.
  3. The premiere of the full version of the game is scheduled for March 13, 2025. What's also when the last region will be added to the game.

Contact with the community is very important for the developers, so they intend to add ideas from its members to Hejstos as part of updates.

It is worth noting that when Hejstos will become available in early access in two months, players will be able to test Tales of Anturia: Farathan, co-created by Sartorian and Farathan Studio. It will be inspired by the open-world RPG series Gothic, which will emphasize the story aspect to a greater extent than Hejstos.

In Farathan, we will play as Eristan, the heir to the throne of a fantasy land in which the game is set. After his father's death, he sets off to the capital of the empire on the brink of civil war, Erion, to be crowned the ruler. However, as a result of an accident, the weakened protagonist forgets how to fight. Despite this, he must continue his journey.

The story offered by Tales of Anturia: Heistos seems to be a very similar tale. In order to stop a civil war in the ice-bound province, the main character tries to regain the iron crown. The game will focus on exploration, combat, and character progression.
