Dark cathedral from The Blood of Dawnwalker will be truly terrifying place. „It seemed to embody the wrath God displayed towards sinners”
The cathedral in The Blood of Dawnwalker will be dark and possibly inhabited by a vampire. Rebel Wolves studio has published another part of „The Secret History of Vale Sangora”.
A new post appeared on the official account of The Blood of Dawnwalker on X, introducing "The Secret History of Vale Sangora." This is already the 8th part of the story of the scholar Albertus Taurinus, who is traveling to the city of Svartrau.
I spent most of my time in the archives of the Svartrau cathedral. Right from the start, I did not like this building - though undoubtedly grand, it seemed dark and foreboding. Rather than representing God's boundless, it seemed to embody the wrath He displayed towards sinners.
I was not surprised to learn that the cathedral was reputed to be haunted and few would dare walk its long naves after dark. Reading dusty chronicles lit by flickering candles I, too, felt a deep sense of unease. I always felt watched there, and not from the Heavens up above, but from the untold Depths below.
As we can read, the cathedral will appear gloomy and dark in the game. Maybe a vampire or an entire group of bloodsuckers lives there, whom we encountered in the first trailer of the upcoming RPG. The opinions of the locals about the "haunted" temple, along with the narrator's own feeling of always being "watched" there, suggest this.
Unless—although it's rather unlikely—these are the creatures previously presented to us in the concept art. Last week, Rebel Wolves Studio introduced kobolds - creatures living in the dark, which strongly resemble the nekkers from the world of The Witcher.
The Blood of Dawnwalker will hit PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The devs haven't yet revealed the estimated release date for this game.
