Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is set in 15th-century Bohemia, which is embroiled in a civil war. That's why, it is a brutal place where murders are over the place. The first installment offered a special achievement called "Merciful" for completing the main storyline without killing, but the sequel didn't include a similar reward.

However, this didn't stop some players. A Reddit user named hamfity reported that he successfully finished KCD 2 without killing anyone. He fought every battle using only his fists, which is why he described himself as a medieval version of Batman.

Becoming medieval Batman was one of my most fun gaming experiences from playing the first Kingdom Come Deliverance. […] It was a joy to be able to continue the adventure in the second game even if there isn't an achievement for it.

The player shared a few tips with players who would also like to try this challenge. Since KCD 2 does not provide a pacifist path, some moments force us to kill. So hamfity had to find clever ways to get around them.

There were a few quests where the developers really wanted killings, so I had to bend the rules a bit.

The bending of rules involves, for instance, permitting Hal's companions to strike the fatal blow in his place. The player dropped several unconscious bodies from a height, thereby shifting all the blame onto gravity. He also left some enemies to be devoured by Henry's dog, Mutt.

Eventually, the challenge was completed, and hamfity acknowledged that it surprisingly fit well into the theme of "Henry trying to be good while circumstances force him to be bad."

But damn I stole so much that Henry's got that on his conscious... I guess he should donate more to the church.
