PoE 2 Early Access and 1.0 Release Date Explained

Thousands of players are waiting for Path of Exile 2, a successor to extremely popular PoE. This free to play hack and slash will be released in Early Access (in not so free form) and a few months later as a full release. In this guide we will tell you more about it.

PoE 2 Early Access Release date and time

The release date of Path of Exile 2 Early Access is not a mystery. Developers have announced that the game will be available December 6 at 8:00 PM (GMT+1). So, in a few days. However, this launch will be not for all players but for those who have bought a Supporter Pack or paid enough for PoE microtransactions on one platform. So, if you want to join the game in a few day, you have to pay. What about the full release, though? Is it free? When will it be?

PoE 2 1.0 Full Release Explained

We have good news for you, as full release will be free to play. However, it is unknown how long you will have to wait. According to the linked above FAQ, developers estimate that the game will be in Early Access at least for 6 months. However, they underline that they want to stay in EA as long as needed. So, we should expect that the time may be longer than half a year, depending on the progress and probably EA players opinions.

Let’s hope that the work will be smooth and creators from Grinding Gear Games will complete PoE 2 quickly.
