Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 - Probable Date of Official Announcement
The latest rumors have revealed the date of the official announcement of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000, which, according to previous reports, will take place next month.
It has been said for months that the first Nvidia Ampere GPU will debut in September, this year. The latest rumor suggests that the official announcement of GeForce RTX 3000 will take place on September 9. It comes from Gamers Nexus, which received this information from manufacturers of GPUs who are business partners of Nvidia. Probably on the same day we will not only get to know the specs, release date and the suggested price for the top models, but we should be able to place pre-orders on reference chipsets (so-called Founders Edition).
According to earlier, unofficial reports, only GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3080 will be released in September. They should appear on the market on September 17, just over a week after the official announcement. GeForce RTX 3070 and GeForce RTX 3060 will be available for purchase a few weeks later in October and November, respectively. However, this information is not confirmed, so it should be treated with a grain of salt.
Performance tests on independent websites should be expected in the vicinity of the release of these GPU. Manufacturers are reportedly already starting to plan the allocation of review copies, which will be shipped within a few weeks. GeForce RTX 3000 from NVIDIA's third-party partners will be released after the Founders Edition in late September/October for GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3080. Leaks in the performance of Ampere indicate that there's something to look forward to.
