Minecraft Snapshot 21w13a Add Goats and Light Blocks
Minecraft has received more new features from the Caves & Cliffs update. Snapshot 21w13a lets you test goats and light blocks and introduces quite a few fixes.
Another month of waiting for the big Minecraft update with caves and cliffs in the lead role is behind us. Some of the attractions from Caves & Cliffs Update are made know in advance thanks to the so-called snapshots. The latest one, numbered 21w13a, is now available on PC. Traditionally, you will get access to it after activating the snapshots in the "installations" section. However, we recommend to run a snapshot session fom a separate folder or make a backup copy of your world. Otherwise you may lose your creations forever!
If you've been testing the beta version of Minecraft Bedrock Edition in addition to the snapshots, you probably remember a new feature from November. Now, thanks to snapshot 21w13a, goats have also appeared in the so-called Java Edition. We'll find the animals in the mountains, where they roam making great leaps. Like many other representatives of the fauna, goats can be tamed and bred, which will provide us with another source of milk.
Aside from the goats, an invisible glowing block (only available through commands to player with operator status), and a new accessibility option in the form of a solid color loading screen, snapshot 21w13a focuses on minor modifications to previously added elements. Throughout the game, we'll more often run into so-called mega caves (or "big cheese caves"), which will also be much more diverse. In addition, we'll find iron ore more easily, and from time to time we'll discover larger concentrations of diamonds. There are also changes in the fauna (especially axolotls), snow dust, etc., and more than a hundred bugs have been removed. The full list of new features and fixes introduced in snapshot 21w13a can be found on the game's official website.
