Minecraft's Darkest Update is Now Online. Most Terrifying Mob in Game's History Has Arrived

The second game drop for Minecraft introduces the Pale Garden biome with an enemy disturbingly similar to the horror known from survival horror movies.

Mojang Studio seems to be a bit late for Halloween, as a new Minecraft update adds content that is quite disturbing.

Garden Awakens is the second in a new series of updates for the wildly popular sandbox. As a reminder: Mojang studio decided to abandon the release of major updates in favor of smaller, but more frequently released content packages called game drops.

The new features from Garden Awakens were checked by the Java version owners as part of the October "snapshot" 24w40a. The update is now available in the Bedrock edition (including consoles) and introduces the mysterious new Pale Garden biome and the mob hiding within it.

Creaker, as the new guest in Minecraft is called, appears at night and tends to remain motionless and pretend to be one of the many pale trees when the player looks at him. However, like many similar opponents found in other video games, as soon as the character looks away, the mob will pursue the hero with surprising speed, and let's say, it doesn't have good intentions.

Also forget about attacking it, at least directly. Defeating Creaker requires finding his heart, hidden somewhere nearby. This "living block" will also provide access to one of several new resources.

In addition to these new features, update 1.21.50 brings several fixes to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. You can find the full list of changes on the official game website.
