Delta Force Servers Might Be Busy Day One. Studio Warns about Queues
PC open beta of Delta Force will start tomorrow. If you want to play the title, you can expect queues to join severs.
The FPS market is almost always crowded. At the end of October, the newest installment of the legendary Call of Duty series was launched, of course we are speaking about Black Ops 6. You can also return to Gray Zone Warfare which received a big update only a couple of days ago. Amidst all this fuss, Delta Force series returns from the dead. Open PC beta will be released on December 5 at 00:00 UTC. On this occasion developers warn us about server queues.
Team Jade Warns about Queues in Delta Force
Release of free-to-play shooter usually attracts a lot of players (at least initially). The effect of this situation is easy to predict – overload servers, queues included. Often creators do not estimate number of players well enough. Even if they think that they are prepared, fans might still surprise them. Therefore, Team Jade announced that Delta Force servers will be deployed in:
- Nort America – Silicon Valley (US) and Virginia (US);
- South America – Brazil;
- Europe – Germany and Finland;
- Oceania – Australia;
- Asia – Japan, Singapore and Saudi Arabia.
However, it is difficult to say if they will be enough. Of course, developers are aware of this potential problem. So, they made a post on Steam, where they announced that they will actively work so that everyone can play.
The server is expected to officially open on December 5th (Thursday) at 00:00 (UTC+0). On the first day, there might be queues. If such situations occur, we will expand capacity as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Server issues are relatively common in modern gaming. Only two weeks ago Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 had similar problems with long queues.
If you would like to joint the number of players, keep in mind that at launch the game will support 12 languages – Simplified Chinese, English, French, German, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Traditional Chinese, and Turkish.
