As announced last week, another stream from the "Minecraft Live" series took place, during which Mojang studio presented the upcoming new features for the game. The devs have decided to change the development approach of Minecraft and now instead of one big update a year, we will be getting more frequent, but also slightly smaller so-called "game drops" updates. The contents of the first two have already been revealed.

Bundles of Bravery update

The update titled Bundles of Bravery will introduce the popular Hardcore mode to Minecraft Bedrock Edition. This is a well-known form of fun for Java Edition owners, where the player has only one life, and losing it results in the end of the game.

Furthermore, "bundles" will also be included. These are items made from leather and nets that will serve as an extension of the inventory. The player will be able to store other items in them, allowing them to carry much more with them.

Unfortunately, the developers didn't provide the release date for the Bundles of Bravery update, but we shouldn't have to wait too long for it.

Second update

The second "Game Drop" doesn't yet have an official name, but thanks to it, the following will be added to Minecraft:

  1. Pale Garden - a new biome, which is supposed to be quiet and peaceful during the day, and terrifying at night, with strange sounds coming from all directions. In it, we will find, among other things, an additional type of tree or creatures not seen before;
  2. Creaking – these are hostile monsters that inhabit the Pale Garden and blend perfectly into the background. To overcome them, you need to destroy a hidden object in the forest known as the "Creaking Heart" as they only move when the player isn't looking.

This update will be released later than Bundles of Bravery, and Mojang has only stated that it will occur "within the next few months."
