Minecraft is Changing; Preparations for Version 1.20 in Full Swing
Mojang has taken the final touches to Minecraft update 1.20. So it looks like Trails & Tales will be coming to the players soon.
Mojang prepares for the release of its next major update to its hit game. Java release of Minecraft has just received the first so-called "pre-release" of version 1.20 - the Trails & Tales. Details are discussed on the game's official website.
As this is "only" preparation for the debut of the actual update, the list of changes is small. It's basically limited to the ability to repaint wool, carpets and beds to any color you want. Longer is the list of fixed bugs (mostly new ones, not long present issues), although it too does not shock with size.
Most importantly, however, it heralds the imminent debut of the eagerly awaited update. An exact date has still not been announced, but the appearance of a "pre-release" means that Mojang has finished testing (and fixing) new elements in snapshots and will now focus on fixing minor bugs.
The cherry biome and mob are by no means all that Trails & Tales will bring with it. Most exciting is the debut of archaeology (by the way: much delayed) and armor finishes, although playing mob heads (sic!) and book shelves have also attracted the attention of players.
