Metal Gear Solid Collection on PC Without Mouse and Keyboard Support? Konami Removes Product Card From Steam

There are many indications that Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is in for a bittersweet release on PC. Before Konami managed to remove the game's product page on Steam, vigilant gamers managed to notice on it that the collection will not support mouse and keyboard.

Although playing with a gamepad can be quite a lot of fun, there are numerous people who can't imagine playing with anything but the good ol' keyboard and mouse. Soon advocates of this type of solution may have quite a problem - make friends with the gamepad or give up on the eagerly awaited title.

However, to understand the whole situation one must go back to yesterday's Nintendo Direct, during which Konami revealed new information about Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1. Along with the announcement, the developers launched an official page on Steam dedicated to the collection. Admittedly, there would be nothing remarkable about it, if not for the fact that the players noted on it a point saying that the game requires a controller, and that playing with a keyboard and mouse is not possible (via DSOGaming).

Unfortunately, before we had time to confirm these reports, the developers removed the game's card from Valve's platform..

However, it should be remembered that the first two installments of Metal Gear (which will also be included in the collection) were originally supported by keyboard and mouse. This, in turn, enables us to hope that at least these productions can be played with the aforementioned peripherals.

At the time of writing this news, Konami has not decided to take comment on the matter. Therefore, there is nothing left for us to do but to be patient and await possible explanations from the developers. Maybe it's just a simple mistake on the product card....
