Is there the best weapon in Khazan? Find your ultimate tool of destruction
Despite offering only 3 types of weapons, The First Berserker Khazan allows for a lot of freedom in their customization. Which is the best and worth investing in? Here you will find our take on this matter.

With Elden Ring being a great hit drawing in millions of players, who haven’t even tried soulsbourne games before, the genre itself is becoming more and more widespread and open, transpiring even to the lighter themes of comedy, like in the case of Another Crab’s Treasure. Many developers encouraged by this attention have started creating more titles, spinning and twisting the idea to their hearts’ content. The effect of such manipulation is, without a doubt, The First Berserker Khazan. It’s a story of vengeance that has a chance of becoming timeless thanks to its unique graphics style. As the protagonist seeks for revenge, let’s take a closer look at tools that he has at his disposal to deliver swift death to the enemies. Is there the best weapon to shred through the opponents?
Weapon types in The First Berserker Khazan
As the games created by From Software feature dozens, if not hundreds, of unique weapons (save for Sekiro), in The First Berserker Khazan the arsenal is considerably smaller. However, you will have to choose wisely between them, not only because your friends won’t be able to help you, as this is solely singleplayer title, but also due to the fact that the tools of destruction scale with different attributes and have their own, unique skill trees. Which one should you use then, and which is the best?
In Khazan you are able to choose between 3 types of armament, let’s break them down briefly:
Dual Wield
It is the starting weapon archetype. Since it’s the first, we can only imagine that the creators wanted to indicate that it is the easiest to pick up and use. It features a very quick and short-range flurry of attacks that can overwhelm your foes with their intensity.
Dual Wield scales mostly with Willpower, so if you choose to go with this weapon, make sure to invest in it. Also, it is worth putting some points into Strength to make sure that you can carry around more.
Greatsword
If you are a fan of Berserk manga by late Kentaro Miura and would like to go full Guts style, Greatswords will be your weapons of choice. While slow, they dish out tremendous amount of damage in a short to medium range.
This type of ordnance increases its destructive capabilities based on the Strength stat the most. However, Proficiency will also allow for additional stamina drain on your enemies.
Spear
The last type offers a middle ground between the other two kinds of armament. It is said that it’s also the hardest to master, so this is something to bear in mind. Spears excel at long range attacks that exhaust your foes’ stamina considerably, while keeping your own at bay.
To improve the statistics of this weapon, you should focus on putting your points into Proficiency. However, distributing some of them to Willpower will allow you to recover your stamina faster, allowing for relentless offensive.
The best weapon in The First Berserker Khazan
As you might have already figured out, there is no “best” weapon per se. All of them have unique abilities that complement specific playstyles. If you are unsure about what would work best for you, Dual Wield should be your archetype of choice. Although, if you feel adventurous, Spears might offer an interesting challenge and additional depth to master. Greatswords, on the other hand, will shred through your foes with their sheer power of blows.
Ultimately, even though The First Berserker Khazan might seem to have an underwhelming number of weapons, each of them offers unique experience that can be tailored to your needs via skill trees. Do not be afraid to experiment with them and eventually you will find something that works the best just for you. Have fun!
