There are only 4 days left until the release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and those who purchased the premium edition will start playing tomorrow. PC gamers might have felt a slight concern, as recent rumors surfaced online suggesting that Denuvo protection might be added to the game. Fortunately, Bethesda reacted in time and clarified the whole situation.

Indiana Jones without Denuvo

Yesterday, the game card was updated on Steam, and looking through the history of changes on SteamDB, we can see posts suggesting adding anti-piracy protection.

There have been expressions of discontent online because, as is known, Denuvo isn't popular among gamers. Evidently, they reached Bethesda, prompting the company to react and publish a post on X to clarify the whole matter. It turns out that the protection was only added to review versions to prevent pre-release leaks.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle does not include Denuvo. It was only in review builds for leak precautions.

So it looks like PC gamers waiting for the new Indiana Jones can sleep soundly. Unless, of course, their rig is already quite old, because, the recently published system requirements for the game are very high.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released on December 9 for PC and XSX/S consoles. The title will also be immediately available in the Game Pass subscription. It's worth mentioning that the first reviews of the game will be published today.
