Sylvie is one of the playable characters in the demo version of Fellowship, and she’s easily one of the best healers in the game (though, to be fair, there are only two so far). She’s got a 3-star difficulty rating, so she’s not too tough to pick up, but you’ll still need to get the hang of her abilities to really make the most of her.

Mastering HoT. Playing Sylvie in Fellowship

Sylvie’s all about healing-over-time, and her abilities are extremely useful if you can manage them properly. Here’s what you want to do:

  1. Send a pink Flutterfly to each party member for HoT, or stack a few on DPS and tank players to keep them topped up. These heals don’t have a time limit, so as long as the Flutterflies are there, they’ll keep doing their job.
  2. Her blue Flutterfly casts a protective spell, so you’ll want to save that for whoever’s taking the most damage.
  3. Sylvie doesn’t need mana for her DPS spells, so once you’ve set everything up, she can focus on dishing out damage too.
  4. Keep an eye on your team – sometimes you’ll need to move a Flutterfly around for that extra healing boost.
  5. If things get rough, her Soothing Touch skill is a solid emergency heal, though it does eat up a lot of mana.

Since the game doesn’t have a set release date yet, keep in mind that things could still change. A lot of players feel that some aspects need balancing and tweaking, which could lead to adjustments in every character’s abilities.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
