How to play Rime in Fellowship. Her build and skills explained
Would you like to main Rime in Fellowship. We will help you with that.

Fellowship is one of the most popular playtests during the ongoing Steam Next Fest. No wonder, as there are many enthusiasts of killing bosses and doing raids with friends, without long hours of grind. Some people are already wondering when the game will be released. While waiting, we can enjoy the content we have. As of now, there are 3 classes and 8 characters to pick from. Some of them are easier to play than others. We have already gave you some tips regarding Sylvie. Now, it is time to talk about Rime.
How to use Rime skills in Fellowship
To begin with, let’s emphasize that the skill you should use depends on the team you are in. For example, if your tank has problems with keeping away enemies, it is a good idea to cast Frost Ward. On the other hand, in the case of a healer malfunction, Winter’s Blessing might save not only your life but also those of your friends. Of course, Ice Dash is also helpful to avoid incoming powerful attacks.
However, in other cases, we recommend 3 basic skills – Cold Snap, Bursting Ice, and Frigid Torrent.
- Bursting Ice – it is a skill worth starting with. Cast it on an opponent with a lot of health, and preferably near other hostiles, as it will inflict them too (unless you have Colaescing Ice, more about Talents is below). Moreover, it generates 1 Anima per enemy hit, up to 3 Anima each tick.
- Freezing Torrent – It combines well with Bursting Ice thanks to the Unrelenting Ice talent. However, it is a powerful attack on its own. It deals damage over 2 seconds and generates up to 6 Anima.
- Cold Snap – It is a good complementary skill which can start the combo or follow another ability. It is a simple damage dealer. However, it triggers Anima Spikes, and it spawns 1 Winter Orb.
- After this combo you should have enough Winter Orbs to use them on a powerful attack. If you deal with a group of enemies, pick Ice Comet, during the boss fights, Glacial Blast is recommended.
Which Talents to pick for Rime build in Fellowship
The combo presented above is well complemented by the following talents:
- Chillblain – it boosts Freezing Torrent significantly.
- Unrelenting Ice – by using Freezing Torrent, you will shorten the cooldown of Bursting Ice.
- Icy Flow – Anima Spikes reduce cooldown of Freezing Torrent (remember that Cold Snap triggers Anima Spikes, too) and boosts your speed.
- Soulfrost Torrent – It improves Freezing torrent even more than Chillblain.
- Coalescing Ice – you can also try this talent, as it makes your Bursting Ice better, especially if the skill targets one opponent.
So, hopefully, now you will be able to kill all enemies on your way. Good luck.
