A third-person dungeon crawler RPG, focused on cooperation for up to 4 people. In Fellowship we can choose between playing as a tank, a healer or a DPS-focused character. We can either explore simple dungeons or decide to face larger ones, taking part in ranked games and ending up on the leaderboards.
Fellowship is an action RPG dungeon crawler game, designed for multiplayer gameplay. It was developed by the Swedish studio Chief Rebel, which has been in existence since 2018.
Gameplay
In Fellowship we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP).
Roles on the battlefield
The game takes us to a fantasy world, specifically - to its dungeons, which we explore as characters representing three specializations. The game allows us to play as a "tank" who takes most of the damage, the so-called DPS character who mainly focuses on attacking enemies, and also as a healer who aids their allies.
Combat and cooperation
While exploring the dungeons, we mainly engage in dynamic battles with opponents. By eliminating hordes of regular enemies and powerful bosses, we must cooperate with the remaining participants of the expedition, skillfully using the strengths of the character we control.
The role we choose determines both our equipment and the tactics we should adopt. While the "tank" and DPS hero should fight on the front line, the healer must stay at the back, supporting their allies from a safe distance.
Dungeon types
As we progress, we develop characters and acquire better equipment, and the difficulty level of the dungeons adjusts to the heroes participating in the journey. The game also allows us to choose what type of dungeon we want to face. We can both go on short expeditions lasting just a quarter of an hour, or pick longer, ranked games.
Co-op
Fellowship was designed exclusively for online cooperative play for up to 4 people. An element of competition is provided by the leaderboards, where we can boast about our achievements.
