One would think that in order to take a piece of an FPS genre cake, it is necessary to create a high budget, almost perfect title that will be able to stand its ground in battle against Call of Duty, Battlefield, or Counter-Strike. Delta Force, a free-to-play game created by Team Jade, shows that despite mixed reviews on Steam, it’s still a worthy opponent. It is far from perfect, however, as it suffers from many technical issues like failed logins, crashes, stutters, and lack of controller support. Sadly, that’s not all, as recently some fans were unable to launch the game completely due to “SAILSDK Init Failed, ErrorCode: 2026000” message. The fix, however, appears to be rather simple. Here you will learn how to get back into the battle.

SAILSDK Init Failed, ErrorCode: 2026000 in Delta Force fix

Time and time again we observe new updates for games or programs that alongside adding new content, break stuff. Delta Force introduced a new bug resulting in “SAILSDK Init Failed, ErrorCode: 2026000” which has started showing up for some players after the most recent major seasonal patch. The fix, fortunately, is easy.

All there is to do is to grant the game’s executable admin rights. If you need a more detailed explanation of how to do so, we’ve got you covered:

  1. Go to the location where Delta Force is installed, either manually or by right clicking it in your Steam’s library, hovering over “Manage” option, and choosing “Browse local files”. By default, the game is installed in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Delta Force\Game

  1. Right click on the executable file called “DeltaForceClient.exe” and select “Properties”.
  2. Navigate to “Compatibility” tab and mark the “Run this program as an administrator” option.
  3. Close the window by clicking “OK”, or “Apply”.

With that done, you should be able to launch the title from Steam without any problems.

Don’t forget to bring friends, as solo extraction is a harsh experience. Also make sure to come prepared and arm yourself in the best M4A1 build in this production. Have fun!
