Delta Force: Black Hawk Down with mostly negative reviews on Steam. Campaign didn't meet players' expectations
The Black Hawk Down campaign for the free-to-play FPS Delta Force has disappointed players' expectations. The title is getting poor reviews on Steam.

The multiplayer FPS Delta Force was one of the most important free-to-play releases last year. Last Friday, as part of a free DLC, the game finally received the Black Hawk Down story campaign. Unfortunately, it didn't deliver.
On Steam, only 35% of player reviews praise the Black Hawk Down campaign, which the platform categorizes as a "mostly" negative reception of the DLC.
- Players are mainly frustrated that playing the campaign solo is nearly impossible. The difficulty level is very high, and the lack of checkpoints means that each death forces you to start the mission from the beginning. As a result, it only makes sense to play Black Hawk Down in co-op mode.
- Many people also point out the poor AI of opponents and the overall lack of technical polish. Some people complain that playing the campaign requires downloading all the files for multiplayer (which is 60 GB) and installing Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE), an anti-cheat system that runs at the core of the system, even if they only want to play solo.
Below we present a few reviews from Steam:
You can also play in Operations mode against cheaters. Die just as quickly, but you have a higher number of fps and you don't have to first start the game within the game.
The campaign is poorly optimized, and enemies appear right in front or behind you and there's simply no pleasure in playing.
Bad optimization.
Bad graphics.
Bad anti-aliasing, everything is blurred.
Bad AI.
EVERYTHING IN THIS CAMPAIGN IS BAD.
Currently, only PC gamers can play Delta Force. However, the developers' future plans include versions for Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5, as well as for mobile devices with iOS and Android systems.
