In December 2024, after 15 years of silence, Delta Force returned. At the beginning, the game offered only tactical multiplayer experience with two pretty typical for the genre modes – PvP warfare and extraction shooter. Today, however, the campaign was released (at least on PC). Does this mean that the game offers single-player oriented experience?

How to play Delta Force Black Hawk Down campaign solo

Delta Force Black Hawk Down is a remake of the classic campaign, which was released in 2003 on PC, PlayStation 2 and first Xbox. So, you have occasion to experience the story on a completely new visual level. In addition, the game offers you a choice of several different classes and loadouts. This allows you to experiment and adjust everything to your preferred playstyle. However, lone wolves may have problems. Why?

If you were expecting a single-player campaign, then I must disappoint you. Black Hawk Down was designed as a coop experience for four players. Even in an official note, the developers from Team Jade, made it quite clear that gathering a full team would guarantee an “optimal experience”.

Yes, you can play solo, but it's incredibly challenging. We strongly recommend playing with a full squad of 4 players for the optimal experience.

Theoretically, you can also play alone. However, this will be a huge challenge and will probably require a lot of patience. You must also remember that campaign mode still has an online lobby. So, when you start a session, you have to create a password. This prevents other players from joining your game.
