Rescue the Cow is a side quest in Dragonheir Silent Gods that causes trouble for players, as it requires a hard-to-find item to use Cosimo’s Cauldron. In this article, you will learn how to complete this task and get the Antidote for the Cow.
How to Complete Rescue the Cow in Dragonheir Silent Gods
The quest begins in Aquitaine. Next to the town, you will find a cow standing at the crossroads, with a dialogue bubble above it.
The cow will ask you to find an antidote to restore it to its true form. Apparently, Cosimo the Sorcerer knows how to prepare the medicine.
The sorcerer’s house is in Aquitaine; it’s the building to the upper right simply labelled ‘Residence’. Inside you will find Cosimo’s Cauldron which will be used to brew the antidote later, interact with it.
The necessary ingredient is Goblin’s Nail. In order to obtain it, go to Arbortea.
Once in the city, enter the Roost. You will see several NPCs there. The one you need to talk to, to obtain the Goblin’s Nail, is Barton the Merchant.
You can choose between two ways of getting the ingredient – either buy it or attempt to steal it. Keep in mind that you need a fairly high Dex stat to steal successfully. If you fail at both the robbery and explaining yourself, you will be charged for the theft.
Once you have one Goblin’s Nail, go back to Aquitaine, enter the Residence and put it in Cosimo’s Cauldron.
Take the antidote you brewed to the cow waiting for you outside of the town for a conclusion to this side-quest.
