Satisfactory 1.0 is here. After a long time in early access the game was released in its full version. However, it brings some technical difficulties. A large number of fans report that they experience crashes. Luckily, we have a solution for that. Sadly, it is not the end of issues, as many players have encountered problems with changing language. Let’s fix it together.

How to Change Language in Satisfactory 1.0, Localization Problems Explained

First of all you need to remember that at this point there are 12 officially supported languages, and they are: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified & Traditional Chinese. If your language is not on the list, you may join Satisfactory Discord channel and help to create a community’s translation. If your localization is there, and you can’t change to it, there is an easy fix for that.

If you can’t change your language, there is an official fix.

  1. Navigate to %LOCALAPPDATA%\FactoryGame and rename the folder.
  2. Now, run the game, to create a new one.
  3. Next, from the renamed folder, copy Saved\SaveGames to the freshly created FactoryGame.
  4. You should be able to change the language now.

If you experience other technical problems, we suggest trying to remove mods. It is quite common that after big updates mods do not work until they are updated, too. Because of that they tend to cause various problems.
