Satisfactory 1.0 was released a few hours ago and fans report numerous different issues. The most common are crashes but players have problems with changing language, too. It is not all, though. As many people who have dedicated servers can’t connect with them. It is not only an issue of private dedicated servers, but rented ones are supposedly also buggy.

Satisfactory 1.0 – Dedicated Servers, Failed to Connect to Server Api Explained

As of now, there are no official solutions to these problems. However, there are many people commenting on Steam forum, some of them point towards fixes which might help you. You should start troubleshooting with checking port 7777 UDP/TCP. As it is the only one, which is used by Satisfactory after 1.0 release.

Alternative is to wait for official patch. However, taking into consideration that there are more urgent problems to solve, it might be some time before developers will take care of it (or instruct players how to do that).

Remember that 1.0 releases are often quite difficult for players and developers alike. Such well received games as Space Marine 2 or Black Myth Wukong had also many issues on launch. However, developers work hard to fix them (in the case of SM2 they still do it). In this case we should be patient also. We are sure that creators from Coffee Stain Studios are working hard right now.
