Hideo Kojima on Game he Wants to Make; Man is Flying High
Hideo Kojima has revealed his plans for the future, which are heavily tied to space. The Death Stranding creator wants to develop a game literally not from this world.
The famous Hideo Kojima has ambitious plans for the future. Geoff Keighley, host of Summer Game Fest, asked the director recently about what the creator of Death Stranding would like to achieve in both his personal and professional life. Kojima replied that his ambition is to fly into space and create a game that can be played.... in space precisely.
Kojima and his (un)realizable dreams
The conversation between Keighley and Kojima took place after the screening of the documentary film Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds, which took place as part of the Tribeca Film Festival - the event took place in New York and ran from June 7 to 18.
In the Q&A session recorded by user andy11, Hideo Kojima surprised the audience. The director revealed that he would like to fly into space and develop a game adapted to extraterrestrial conditions.. It's not entirely clear whether the director was serious. If so, it's unlikely that people will go to space en masse anytime soon and take Kojima's game there with them, but... who knows?
"I want to fly to space and create a game that you can play only in space. Currently, you probably can't play all games in space, so I'd like to change that. Have someone send me into space," said Hideo Kojima.

Kojima and his upcoming games
The most anticipated title from Hideo Kojima probably remains Death Stranding 2. Recall that the creator is also heavily involved in the development of the movie adaptation of the first part of this one of the most famous PlayStation exclusive games of recent years.
Another brand created by Kojima, which will get a refresh, is Metal Gear Solid. Admittedly, the Japanese is not involved in this project, but the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater nevertheless promises to be interesting.
It's also worth mentioning that Kojima took a photo with Nicolas Cage, who announced his appearance in Dead by Daylight. Perhaps this is a tacit announcement of some kind of collaboration? One has to wait for official news on the subject to find out.
