Genshin Impact Will Get Aloy From Horizon: Zero Dawn as Free Character
Aloy, the heroine of Horizon: Zero Dawn, will soon be coming to Genshin Impact as a free playable character.
MiHoYo and Guerrilla Games announced that Genshin Impact will soon include Aloy, the main protagonist of Horizon: Zero Dawn, as a playable character. She will be available for free and only for a limited time, after which it will no longer be possible to unlock her.
We do not know exactly when Aloy will hit Genshin Impact. It was only revealed that she will be one of the new features available in updates 2.1 and 2.2. We also know that owners of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles will be able to unlock the character earlier than owners of other hardware platforms.
Aloy is expected to be a five-star character, belonging to the group of the most powerful heroes in Genshin Impact. After the release of Update 2.1, PS4 and PS5 players with a rank of 20 or higher will receive an in-game message enabling them to unlock Aloy. Users on other platforms will wait until patch 2.2 to be able to do so.
While the character herself will sooner or later be available on any hardware, her bow, which will be added to the game, is to be available only on PlayStation consoles. It will be a four-star weapon.
It's worth remembering that this is not the only guest appearance of Aloy in recent times. In April, she appeared as a playable character in Fortnite.
