PS5's Next Exclusive is an Unannounced Final Fantasy; May be Shown ay E3

An unannounced Final Fantasy game will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive? This would be suggested by the leaks from the ResetEra forum. The game is to be revealed by Square Enix during this year's E3.

There's a chance that PlayStation 5 will get another exclusive game, this time from the Final Fantasy franchise. As we can learn from a thread on ResetEra forum, in which a user named Navtra was quoted, in addition to the already announced Final Fantasy XVI, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker and Final Fantasy VII Remake we can expect something completely new on PlayStation 5. According to the informant, the game will be revealed at Square Enix's show during the upcoming E3.

As Navtra believes, the new installment of the Final Fantasy franchise will not be as big as, for example, the installment numbered XVI or the Forspoken announced for 2022, but it will be bigger and more important than World of Final Fantasy or the remaster. Additionally the author of leak also mentions a cross-gen title from Eidos Montreal, but about this, in turn, he does not say too much. Moreover, both works are to be representatives of the RPG genre, so not only Final Fantasy's fans can sharpen their teeth, but also Deus Ex.

ResetEra moderators assure that Navtra was a source of leaks in the past, which later turned out to be true. What's more, Navtra has provided verified revelations regarding PlayStation 5. Even if today's news isn't entirely certain, we won't have to wait too long for confirmation, as E3 will be held on June 12-15.
