Atelier Yumia gets much-needed PC upgrade thanks to fan work
The freshly released Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land has received a number of useful improvements thanks to the AtelierYumiaFix mod.

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, the latest installment in the popular series of alchemical JRPGs by Gust studio, recently debuted on Steam. Unfortunately, although the team has been developing PC versions of the series for a decade, they still leave a bit to be desired. The latest game in the series is no exception, as best shown by the fact that it has only 66% positive reviews on Steam. Some of the game's problems were decided to fix by a mod named Lyall.
The result of his work is the modification AtelierYumiaFix. First of all, the project allows you to freely configure the resolution, thus providing support for all monitors, including ultrawide ones. The author has also corrected interface errors that appear on such screens. He also added an option to skip introductory videos and the ability to set the width of the Field of View/FOV, thus getting rid of the slightly claustrophobic camera. Importantly, the FOV can be configured separately for exploration and battles.
An option to set the distance at which NPCs are rendered has also been introduced, as well as disabling character invisibility effects in photo mode.

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, was released on March 21 on PC and consoles, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
The game is doing very well - within the first week it sold more than 300,000 copies, making it the fastest-selling game in the series.
Rise of The Ronin with similar fixes
It's worth mentioning that a few days earlier Lyall also improved Rise of The Ronin in similiar way. In the case of this game, he also added full support for custom resolutions, but also further improved the intermission scenes.
