Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is a hit for Bandai Namco. In the latest financial report, the publisher summarized the fiscal year's first half, ending in March 2025. The company significantly exceeded not only last year's results but also its own forecasts.

Of course, it's not just thanks to the new Budokai Tenkaichi. Elden Ring and its Shadow of the Erdtree expansion also performed exceptionally well in the past fiscal quarter (which ended in September).

Nevertheless, the contribution of Sparking! Zero cannot be underestimated. The title was bought 3 million times within just 24 hours of its release, marking it as the most successful release for a Dragon Ball licensed game in Steam history. Now Bandai Namco is boasting that the sales of the latest Dragon Ball game were "extraordinary," with 90% of copies being purchased in Europe and North America. It's not surprising, as Dragon Ball has been a phenomenon outside of Japan for a long time.

The publisher hasn't yet disclosed the precise sales figures, except for the previously mentioned accomplishment on the day of the premiere.
