Devs of grand strategy with city-building won't leave players wanting. Kaiserpunk will get many changes in the coming weeks
The release of the ambitious Kaiserpunk turned out to be less than successful. So the devs announced plans to improve the game's biggest issues.

Last Friday, Kaiserpunk was released, a strategy game set in an alternative version of the 20th-century world. The project is based on an interesting idea - it combines classic city building with elements of grand strategy.
Unfortunately, the game didn't fully meet the expectations placed on it. On Steam, the project has 67% positive reviews, which the platform categorizes as a "mixed" reception of the title. However, the devs don't intend to give up and have just revealed their plans for the game's development.
- For now, the creators from Overseer Games will focus on improving the game itself, not on adding new elements.
- First up will be interface improvements and optimizations. Especially concerning the interface, this will merely mark the start of improvements, as the developers seek player feedback on what else requires fixing.
- The third priority for the coming weeks is the level of difficulty. The devs wanted Kaiserpunk to be a demanding and complicated game, and they admit that they went a bit overboard with it.
- The first changes in the interface and difficulty level will be introduced in a patch that will be released later today. On the other hand, we will wait about a week for optimization improvements.
The developers have additional plans, which include expanding the game with new features, but it's too soon to discuss them.
Kaiserpunk is only available on PC. Right now, the title can be purchased on Steam for $26.99. This is a special price, discounted by 10% for the launch.
