We will soon have the opportunity to test the current build of Kaiserpunk, which is a promising strategy game set in an alternative version of the 20th-century world.

  1. Overseer Games studio announced alpha-tests of the game.
  2. They will start the day after tomorrow, which is July 20, and will end on Sunday evening.
  3. Those interested should go to the Kaiserpunk tab on Steam and use the "Request access" option in the "Join Kaiserpunk Playtest" section.

The game demo was released during the June Steam Next Fest. As a result, the devs have received numerous valuable suggestions from players and are currently occupied with implementing them. The upcoming playtest will primarily be an opportunity to check optimization improvements, as well as technical issue fixes. However, the developers are also preparing several new elements that were not available in the demo version.

Kaiserpunk is coming exclusively to PC. The game is scheduled for release this year, but the devs aren't yet ready to announce a more specific release date.

Overseer Games has developed the underwater city builder Aquatico, which has received 70% positive reviews on Steam. In the case of Kaiserpunk, the devs want to opt for more ambitious solutions than in their previous title. Apart from the traditional city construction in the game, there is also a large-scale strategic layer with a world map divided into hundreds of regions. During the game, we will be conquering territories and conducting trade with other countries, as well as engaging in diplomacy.
