This idyllic vision can now be relived in a new game created by Astrolabe Interactive Inc. – Aloft. This distinct survival title is all about floating from island to island and exploring ancient ruins hidden therein. However, traveling through such a cozy and lighthearted world alone can be underwhelming or at least lacking. Let’s analyze how the coop multiplayer in this production works.

If survival games are up your alley, checking out Aloft is a good idea. You don’t have to wait for Early Access stage, as this title has a demo available if you would like to take it for a spin. Losing yourself in such a beautiful world can be a great way to get relief from reality; but after some time, loneliness can start to sting. Fortunately, you are not doomed to share 2D’s experience and friends are welcome to join you in this adventure!
The production features up to 8-players coop experience. You can try to uncover this floating world’s secrets in a group, or do it alone, if you so desire. Not only that, but it’s possible to use an in-game creator to shape up your own island and then share it with other members of community to enrich their worlds.
Of course, we can expect that down the line Aloft will be packed with even more features. In Early Access notes on Steam, we can read that in the EA period Multiplayer will allow for private joining system as well as public lobbies.
