Aloft is an upcoming co-op survival game set in a fantasy world, where you transform flying islands into skyships. The game will be released in a few hours in Early Access. Firstly, developers focusing on the PC version. So, what about PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch consoles ports?

Aloft – Console (PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch) Release Explained

Aloft will be released in early access on January 15, 2025 (today). Initially, the game is coming on PC and will be available on Steam. So, if you want to play on day one, you won't have to buy the game on this platform and you don’t have much choice. The good news is that the system requirements are quite low. Additionally, developers published a demo, so you can check if the game will work well on your PC (let’s keep in mind that demo versions not always run the same way as full games).

In FAQ on Steam Forum, developers wrote that Aloft will hit consoles in the future. Sadly, this will happen after 1.0 version release. Until then, Astrolabe Interactive will focus on finishing the title. However, if you want simply to play with your controller, don’t worry, as the game will support it on launch.

Unfortunately, developers didn’t specify on which platforms Aloft will be released in the future. The most probable is that the game will hit PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. On the other hand, the chances that the production will also be released on older consoles like PS4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch are quite slim.

Of course, right now, these are only speculations. So, you must wait for future announcements from the Astrolabe Interactive.
