Blizzard Plans No Major Releases in 2019
During a recent investor meeting, the representatives of Activision Blizzard have informed that there will be no major frontline releases from Blizzard Entertainment in 2019.

During a meeting with investors, Dennis Durkin, Financial Director of Activision Blizzard, referred to Blizzard Entertainment publishing plans for the coming year.
Turning to Blizzard, we expect materially lower financial performance this year. 2018 benefited from the release of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth whereas we are not planning a major frontline release for blizzard in 2019.
From Durkin's words we can conclude that in 2019 we will certainly see neither Diablo IVnor the new Warcraft, Starcrafta III or any other major production. We can count on smaller projects such as Warcraft III: Reforged or World of Warcraft Classic. When asked about Diablo Immortal, Coddy Johnson, General Manager of Activision Blizzard's Operations Department, assured that the project team was working hard on the title. However, even the approximate release date of the mobile spin-off has still not been announced.
Activision Blizzard is currently undergoing restructuring, as a result of which almost 800 people will lose their jobs (8% of the company's 9,600 employees so far) - the layoffs will mainly affect departments not directly related to game production.
