Black Myth Wukong is definitely a hit with almost 1,5 m concurrent players at the time of writing this article (via SteamDB) and 94% positive reviews on Steam. However, the game is not ideal. It has some technical issues like stuttering or crashing. But many fans are disappointed by something else – lack of HDR (at least on PC). Yes, as of now, the game does not support this feature natively.

Black Myth Wukong Without HDR, Fans Are Disappointed

HDR is an abbreviation of High Dynamic Range. It is a technology which, at least if implemented correctly, do some changes in your colors, and to be more precise – it should make them deeper. Of course, you should have a proper monitor to use it. However, more and more players have one. So, it is even more saddening that Black Myth Wukong does not offer such feature on launch.

Of course, there are various 3rd party ways to fix HDR in games which do not have one. It is likely that a mod will appear soon, which adds this feature to Black Myth Wukong. It happened in the case of many popular titles. However, native support seems to be always the best way. At this point we can only hope that developers will add it at some point in the future. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.

At the end we would like to recommend you our Black Myth Wukong guide. You can find here a lot of useful tips and tricks to defeat bosses and learn more about the game generally (if it seems to be empty, be sure that it will be updated in a few hours).
